Hey all,

I got my OS up and running! Quite exciting... but I don't know how to change the resolution. I have a widescreen VAIO, I need a resolution of 1366x768.

I tried this: http://www.profit42.com/index.php/2006/05/...e-other-tricks/

But I get an error " -bash: syntax error near unexpected token '<' "

Any ideas? thanks in advance

If you haven't gotten the drivers for your video card working, it won't do over 1024x768. Check the Hardware section for how to get your specific video card working.

Once you've done that, go to System Preferences -> Displays, and set it to your desired res.
