cyrana
I've had to make due with just my onboard 915G video with my main test system, since the ADD2-N card only does DVI-D, so I can't use it with the poor VGA-only LCD I have at work. My second card is a PCI Geforce5700LE, which I can use by -itself- without acceleration, but if I try to use it with the onboard, the system goes nuts and I need to reboot. So, I just use the onboard and give up the second monitor (all works fine in XP of course). Has any of this changed in 10.4.3? I don't care about QE and CI on the 2nd display and I know that's not fixed, just wondering if I might be able to at least use 2 displays now. Regardless I'll be doing the upgrade Monday, just wondering in advance. Danke. cyrana
Just an update. Still doesn't work in 10.4.3. Works fine with 915G set as primary/boot display. But if I set the PCI one to be primary, then ONLY it works, if I detect displays, the one hooked up to the onboard gets corrupted badly and eventually hard locks the machine. Works in Windows anyway. Too bad. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/4916-anyone-with-915gpci-video-card/#findComment-32246 Share on other sites
