LinkFreak
I was wondering if there is anyway to install mac os x 10.4 in the terminal. I want to do a test see if something will work. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/49108-mac-os-install-in-terminal/ Share on other sites
A Nonny Moose
You can try sudo installer (path to file here). Other than that the "Nonny Moose Piecemeal Install Method" might have to do it. LinkFreak
Can you explain the Nonny Moose Piecemeal Install Method? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/49108-mac-os-install-in-terminal/#findComment-354836 Share on other sites
A Nonny Moose
OK, here goes. Take the installer package and right click on it to "show package contents." Take the archive file in there and make a copy of it (option-drag) on the desktop. Open said file and allow it to unpack. THEN (and here is the kicker) you will manually drag all those files to their needed locations (follow the exact same file path and create those folders if they don't exist). Once every file is manually copied like that, RESTART (prayer at this point will sometimes work).
