I have tried the command : platform=acpi on the boot, but the problem persists. An idea ? "EDIT"Found a fix tried it, it works good. Attaching Below pps. if it doesnt let you delete the kext in normal mode boot up in -x(safe) and do it then thats what happened here. I get only 1:45 battery life... comppared to 4h+ on Windows... I'm running OSX 10.4.3 8f1099 If this can help, my notebook doesn't shutdown automatically, I have to push the power button. I try to boot with platform=ACPI or OSX86, noway. ThePhased Posted December 21, 2005 Share Posted December 21, 2005 Now I can see the battery icon and it seems to be calculating percent correctly. I think the time is wrong, it says 10min @ 100%. Half of the fix worked. I still get a kernel panic when i try to plug the AC in after disconnecting it. I also have an Asus Laptop (Z33A). In 10.4.1 I did not have this problem. I am running 10.4.3 8f1099. Nonetheless, a good patch..hopefully I can fix my problem though.
