Funky frank Posted April 19, 2007 Share Posted April 19, 2007 Hello, I use a atheros based pci wlan card with apple airport driver. I would like to use channel 13 in my wlan, but the law in my country restricts it to channel 11. My macbook can communicate on channel 13, the airport driver refuses to work. ergosteur Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 I have a Broadcom 4311 card (Dell TrueMobile 1390) in my Inspiron 640m. I know that it works on channel 13; my router is broadcasting on channel 13 and in Windows I can detect and connect to the network. In OSX, I can only see networks on channels 1-11. I'm pretty sure therefore that channels 12 and 13 are being disabled by software and we should be able to edit something somewhere to make it work.
