Avramiea Arthur
I've got 2 computers: one with an athlon xp 2400+ processor, ram 768, video board gf 6600gt 128 and a hp pavillion dv6000z laptop using amd64 turion x2. Is Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2] installable on any of my pcs? I heard that because it doesn't have SSE2, i can't install it on the first pc. Now, if i want to install it on the laptop, and windows is installed on it, can i just resize a partition and make it usable for mac and than install it on the partition? (Without reinstalling windows again and managing partitions from the windows setup). Pls help I forgot to say that on both pcs i have ONE 80 gb hdd. spartango
yes, but you will need all the patches you can get or have on your disk. No guarantees, hardware incompatibility is possible, but its worth a try. Look at the install guides. good luck!
