seclusion Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 Hey guys After a few attempts at getting my Nvidia AGP fx 5500 to fire up in 10.4.8 Jas. I just wondered if I could grab a used official Mac video card and use it in my Hack. The Mobo says that a 3.3v agp video card will cause damage. I use an ASRocks Dual VSTA that has agp 8x's and pci express onboard. Instead of pulling my hair out trying to use terminal and loosing an install I thought there must be "legit" Mac video cards I can use in this thing? I am using a G4 as well, it has the ATI 9000 agp card with 64mb onboard, I've scouted the mac specs but can't see if it's a 3.3v card or not. Can they be used in a HAckintosh? (im a flash wizz well used to be. flashed a lot of pc cards to mac.
