JSn1™ Posted April 16, 2007 Share Posted April 16, 2007 Hi, I installed a temperature monitor in Windows and in Mac OS X. Both report temperatures up to 70 to 80°C or 160°F. I think that is a lot, The computer has Intel Core Duo T2050. The fan won´t start until 80 °C... Anyway try going into your bios and look for power management or something that has to do with overclocking or cooling. Then make it always run the fan. I'm sure you can spare 5.5 volts. I remeber that the last time i removed a kext named AppleThermal.kext, really I do not remeber what to do, the fan won't start until laptop is too hot.
