t3mur
Hey guys, i'm just wondering if i should waste a DL DVD to install this BETA, what new features will i experience exactly besides spaces and TM (TimeMachine) ? And please take a poll on if you're planning to test this BETA. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48514-worth-testing-9a377a/ Share on other sites
Adrian Fogge
Well, 377a is a month and a half old. There is a new build out right now, 9a410 that definitely fixes a lot of the issues that were in 377a, including my personal favorite where Xcode crashes if you press backspace through a newline character. If you are going to waste a disc, use it on the latest version. It definitely is a lot more stable than anything else that I have seen. t3mur
Okey... By the way, i hate how people start topics on how to install leopard with no DL DVD! get a life people, its only like $12.. not to mention you're using a pirated software! twoodcc
even better, restore the dmg to a harddrive partition.no dvd-r or dvd-dl wasted at all... yep, that's my method Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48514-worth-testing-9a377a/#findComment-348085 Share on other sites
Adrian Fogge
My method is just using an old 3rd Generation iPod whose battery no longer works as the hard drive. Handles installation and Time Machine stuff just fine for me.
