I'm in India for 4 months and to save on baggages I thought I'd just bring my hardrives and by some cheap parts over here. I've build a system...core 2 duo with intel 965G mobo but as I expected, It won't boot the osx86 drive that I had installed for my old sse2 system back home. It just hangs at "waiting on <dict ID="0"><key>IOProviderclass</key>"..ect

I also, in my haste forgot to pack the osx install dvd. So what I want to know is, can I fix it to work with this new system or am I wasting my time?

downloading a whole new osx dvd here in india at public internet terminals is out of the question.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, just to clarify.

I get the grey screen with th apple logo and it just hangs there. If I boot with -v I get the "waiting on <dict ID="0"><key>IOProviderclass</key>"..ect

Mobo = Intel DG965RY

CPU = Core 2 Duo 2.13

DVD rom and osx installation are IDE.

osx is already installed for a previous mobo (sse2)
