franky dv9064
Hi, I've installed os x on my laptop and the first problem I ran into was no mouse arrow. I could click on everything and open stuf by guessing where the mouse was but not easy so after 5 times reinstallign everything it finally came Then I've had resolution problems. Instead of 1440x900 I've got 900x1440 so not really working there. So after fidling arround for it for 2 day's I get about everything working. now I've installed a bunch of software and it got a bit slow. At first it was lightning fast. So i've asked one of our apple develepors wath to do and he told me to repair the permissions. So said so done and still everything worked but after a reboot everything went tit's up Again the wrong resolution and again no more mouse button. Again I popped in a new hard drive and installed it. Again no mouse ... Any one that has similair problems ? thnx in advance ! franky dv9064
Well Idon't have any problem's anymore. I installed NvidiaNV40.pkg and set the correct resolution. Onlso in the boot.plist I added the line to force the correct resolution. Needed to remove the @85 thow cause that caused a bit of trouble's. Olso repaired disk permissions a few time. Everything runs like a train now. Olso I found that if your zomm by pressing ctrl and scrolling the mouse appears. Just press ctrl long enough and it will stay as long as you need it. this is only for installing something thow cause it's really not nifty to work like that Franky Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48259-no-mouse-arrow-and-switched-resolution/#findComment-348252 Share on other sites
