Jaco
I have installed Jas 10.4.9 on my desktop which have a Abit IC7-G and for the most part it seems like everything is working except for the SATA drives This Motherboard have 2 ways to connect Sata Drives 1) ICH5R South bridge 2) Silicon Image PCI chip I think I have seen patches for the ICH5R chipset in this forum but the problem is with that option it only gives you access to 4 drives (2 IDE and 2 SATA) whereas the Silicon option give me access to 6 Drives in total - 4 IDE and 2 SATA and that is how I got it configured at the moment through Windows, basically have 2 CD/DVD Burners (IDE1 & 2), 2 IDE HDD on IDE3 & 4 and two SATA drives configured as RAID on SATA 1 and SATA 2. Anybody got this working yet? Also on Wiki.osx86project.org - someone mention that I need a USB2 developer patch to make USB 2.0 works, I have not tested the speed on these ports, but can someone confirm that I do need this patch and where can I find it.
