ma(C)ster
So I finally managed to make things work as charm /JaS 10.4.8 on Acer Aspire 5630/ but one question bothers me... While in MacOS I can see my NTFS partition but I have only 'read' privileges. Is there anything I can do to use it to store data, install mac software, etc? thanx in advance! Apple Freak
Well, first of all, Mac can't edit a NTFS Windows format, so if you are interesting, check out Mac FUSE Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47644-changing-ntfs-privileges-in-osx/#findComment-341215 Share on other sites
Dr. Hurt
The point is not about privileges. OS X doesn't have drivers to write on ntfs partitions. If you want to write to the ntfs partition, then you need to install macfuse. look here http://shadowofged.blogspot.com/2007/03/nt...r-mac-os-x.html Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47644-changing-ntfs-privileges-in-osx/#findComment-341217 Share on other sites
