macgod
Hello! I am new to these forums... I recently acquired a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate and I have been trying to install it on Virtual PC for Mac 7. At first it wouldn't recognize the iso file. However, with Toast I mounted the ISO file and it worked fine. Then it said that my BIOS was not ACPI compliant. However, I fixed this by setting 'ACPI Aware OS' to 'Yes.' The Windows Vista install screen showed up. I thought that it would all work and I would just have to wait for it to finish installing.. I was wrong. When I clicked the button that said begin installing, about two seconds later an error message popped up. This is what it said: "Windows Vista encountered an unexpected error. Verify that the installation sources are accasiable, and restart the installation. Error code: 0xc0000005 Does anyone know how to fix this? What to do? Any suggestions at all? Thanks for the help in advance! -macgod p.s. I've posted a picture of the error message....
