Booting error

Hay, I have installed Mac OSX 10.4.7 on my Dell Inspiron 6400.

My pc freezes when it reaches:

Starting Mac OS X...

 

So i did diagnostic boost. and it said AppleHDA.Kext error bla bla bla. Now i searched the forum.. But they only speak about patching this problem when your allready in mac osx.

 

Also a bit offtopic question :$

I cant boot my windows anymore XD

becouse for some wierd reason it wont set my windows partiion to active. <-- dunno if thats the problem. but i thinkso becouse i get some wierd kernel error.

 

So any1 got some information or and fixes.

Boot with -v and tell us what msg's you get.

tryed to boot with -v, but my keyboard doesnt work than (did multiple reboots, but still no succes)

So i did boot from cd. with -v and it showed those errors +

 

Nic infor connection failed for server 127.0.01 and...

configd[31] error copyairporttscprefsref no such key

 

(i disabled multimedia card & wireless network in bios + normal network)

I just booted linux. and sounds still work there so i guess i cant turn the audio off in bios :S

Hmm, this may not be a solution but you could try connecting an external KB to see if it works. Then try inputting -v at boot.

Another alternative would be to try installing 10.4.8.
