Scorpio123
Hi there, i have an SSE 2 dv1000 with an install of JaS 10.4.8 Intel with the new 8.8.1 semthex kernel.. Everything seems to work fine, except that i can't seem to boot with the apple logo! It did the first time, but now it just shows a bunch of writing, lol.. I have changed the com.apple.Boot.plist with the following two lines: <key>Boot Graphics</key> <string>Yes</string> AND <key>Quiet Boot</key> <string>Yes</string> But still it doesn't show the spinning Apple beginning Any help is appreciated! Kaspers
And whats in the boot flag ? Maybe "-v" ? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47377-apple-spinning-logo-not-showing/#findComment-339205 Share on other sites
erbic
Remove "-v" from the "Kernel Flags" section of com.apple.boot.plist. Personally, I like verbose mode... but to each his own.
