Help, plz!

 

I got a problem while installing JaS 10.4.8 (Still waiting for root device). The problem is... I got a SATA DVD-RW and no IDE on motherboard at all.

 

 

Upd.

I grabbed an external DVD. Installation started...but I cannot see any of my HD's (all SATA) in disk utility. Any ideas?

 

Configuration:

 

Hewlett-Packard HP Compaq dc7700p Convertible Minitower

Intel® Core™2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz

 

3GB DDR2-SDRAM (PC-5200)

Chipset: Q963/Q965 + ICH8R

 

HDD1: HDT722525DLA380 (233GB)

HDD2: WDC WD2500JS-60MHB5 (233GB)

HDD3 (ext.): Maxtor OneTouch II IEEE 1394 SBP2 Device

CD-ROM/DVD : HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GSA-H31L (CD 48X Rd, 48X Wr) (DVD 6X Rd, 6X Wr)

Network: Intel® 82566DM Gigabit Network Connection

I tried SATA Emulation IDE and SATA Emulation RAID in BIOS - still no SATA HDDs in Disk Utility.

 

HELP! :2cents:

 

P.S. I use JaS.Mac.OS.X.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.PPF.1.Defiant.diskutil.biker880.ich7-R.patch.Integrated image.

 

UPD: There is no "AHCI" SATA mode BIOS option.
