Maximator
Help, plz! I got a problem while installing JaS 10.4.8 (Still waiting for root device). The problem is... I got a SATA DVD-RW and no IDE on motherboard at all. Upd. I grabbed an external DVD. Installation started...but I cannot see any of my HD's (all SATA) in disk utility. Any ideas? Focher
I used a USB DVD drive and was able to install. Using a DVD drive connected to the internal SATA controller always gave me the waiting for root device message.
