bozotheclown
Hi all, I got the 1.0.4.3 image, patched it with the Maxxuss imagepatch, the md5 is correct and when I boot I get a graphical screen telling me to shutdown my system by holding the powerdown button several seconds. It looks like a macscreen:) When I boot with -x I see a kernel panic over some serial interface. 1.0.4.1 with the imagepatch worked fine. Any ideas? Templeton Peck
The default kernel with the Maxxuss image patch assumes your CPU supports the XD bit, and it is enabled on your motherboard. When you see the bootloarder, press F8 and type "mach_kernel.nonx" at the boot prompt. That kernel should work on any computer that works with 10.4.1. If it fails, try typing -v and report where it fails.
