Meza's mac
I'm having a crack at installing XP into Parallels on my pc hackamac. Instantly it gets all groggy and slow, interested I check the activity monitor and as expected Parallels is gobbling up all it can, but some more aswel - the CPU usage was running aroun 105 / 110 % for that process! I was wondering if anyone knew how that was possible? erbic
Do you have a dual-core processor? With a dual-core chip, Activity Monitor simply displays the total amount being taken up across both cores. For example, if a process is using 50% on one core and 60% on another core, you'll see it as using 110% CPU. If it's not a dual-core chip, then I have no idea.
