helfire Posted April 1, 2007 Share Posted April 1, 2007 Hi, gota fresh install of JaS 10.4.7, installed all drivers i needed, seamingly running fine. But whenever i double click a .pkg installer, the first window comes up, and the application stops responding, just get a beach ball and have to force quit it. (tried xcode/itunes/fink/few others) Dont see any logs in the console, dont know where i should start looking. Thanks for any help. Prawker Posted April 1, 2007 Share Posted April 1, 2007 This is a very common question so feel free to click search first next time As for a solution, there are a few choices, this is a big isssue in JaS's 10.4.7. So you should install 10.4.8 instead. But if this is not a possibility for you, then we need to set installer to run using Rosetta, Go to Applications>>Utilities. Find "Installer" and right click it, select "Get Info" and check the box that says "Open Using Rosetta".
