Hello guys!

Last night I wanted to install 10.4.6 natively.

My system:

P4 Prescott 630

MSI P965 Neo (Broadwater) +JMicron

DVD-Drive (IDE)

DVD-Writer (SATA)

200GB; 30GB + 170GB (SATA, Windows + Files Part., NTFS)

40GB; 27GB + 11GB (IDE, Fat32 + 11GB where OSX should be installed)

I wasn't able to boot from DVD-Drive (Apple Boot PLIST -error),

using SATA DVD-writer stops with error (verbose mode)

waiting on <dict id="0"><key>IOProviderClass...and so on

So I went on installing MacOS width VMware, persistant to that 11GB part.

This one is set as active and after rewriting MBR for that HDD

(otherwise I got 'OS missing'), finally Vmware

can boot MacOS.

But now, and Jesus may help me, if I boot the HDD/part. natively,

I get the "apple boot plist-error" again.

As I said, the HDD is IDE, and I read a lot about problems with

my motherboard.

Does anybody know a solution ?

Thank you for your help in advance! :thumbsup_anim:

hi,

i have the same board as you an msi p965 neo. i have tried all the patches, trying to install through a usb dvd. have had no success at all booting from the install dvd with this mother board. thus i have had to install through another computer. i've also had to patch to the install disk with the biker ich7 and ich8. but after all that i've been able to boot from my install osx86. now working on getting the other devices to work.
