Moreover OS X on 256MB of RAM, if it even runs at all, would be incredibly painful. Read a LOT before you even attempt this install. CyBrian Posted March 31, 2007 Share Posted March 31, 2007 hardware compatibility list. it states what kind of hardware is supported by a certain software program, in this case mac os. honestly, if you want to run mac os and don't know much about computers (not meant as an insult) i'd recommend simply buying a mac. it's pretty complicated to install it and being able to still run programs for windows would be much harder, yet.
