My PC has a Vista/XP dual boot on my PC at the moment in seperate partitions on one drive.

I'm thinking of adding OSX to another partition formated as FAT32 but although I have read many of the tutorials & posts here I have not come across a good guide on this configuration!!

What I really want to know is will vista & XP get messed up from a bootloader point of view & will I have to fix them with the installation disks for both XP & Vista or will darwin sort all the boot options out? Reading most of the posts I guess they willl get confused.

any advice on this configuration would be much appreciated

Cheers

Simple to fix this. As you begin to install osx, use the disk utilities to reformat the FAT drive to osx journaled; this will allow you to install osx. FInish your instalation. You may, if you wish, boot into Windows with the osx darwin bootloader (look through this site for ideas) Or, place your Vista disk back in the drive after osx is installed and when prompted, select "Repair" and you want to issue the command, "fixmbr" This should restore your WIndows. Next, you will need to use a program like Easy BCD to load OSX into the bootloader. Enjoy

Don't forget to only Repair "Start up" NOT any of the other options because it can stuff up your vista installation.
