domino
One foot in front of the other. I needed to do this before I install native. OK, I finally managed to get 1043 installed on vmware. I hope by now this is common knowledge, but for the clueless, here it is. This is for installing 1043 in vmware on SSE2 without NX/DX CPU support. 1. Go to Maxxuss site and read about his "circumvent", and it will guide you through the install. (See wiki for Maxxuss link). 2. After the install, it will ask you to reboot vmware. Continuously hit F8. If not, it will boot you without prompt. 3. at the boot prompt type the following: mach_kernel.nonx 4. Once you are in OSX, you can edit com.apple.Boot.plist 5. Be sure to do fix permission and reboot. Note: Remember that this patch maybe one of many to come. The later patches may be more stable, so keep an eye out. Greets! PS. he, I totally screwed up the topic name didn't I . To aviod confusion, please fix?
