Dustmite
I was so jacked when I finally got my osx86 past the log in screen! But now the little thins are popping up. I have a sound issue I guess. I am not sure the exact sound chip set but when I dig around on HP's website what I think I have (based on win98 driver listing) is a "ADI Soundmax AC97" chip set. I have already checked the extensions folder and have the AC97 extensions listed in there and the properties show that I am running that audio driver. It is also the only driver that appears to be available for me to use. Further more, when I check the system properties under built-in audio osx86 sees nothing (weird). I do have sound but it is like the vocals are on crack or something. I fired up one of my audio podcasts and the sound is fast. If I play the same audio file on my non-osx86 system sound is fine. The one thing I did do, is download the latest osx version of iTunes and installed that. Is there a chance I screwed up my sound from that or are there any other suggestions for getting my sound issues resolved?
