Marky Mark
I'm trying to find out if my OptoRite 0201 DVD burner will work in 10.4.8? Where's the compatability list for DVD burners, I can't find it anywhere? I already went to the HCL for 10.4.8 & I couldn't find any DVD burners except 1, and it ain't mine. Please help I want to see if I need to buy a new burner or if I can get mine to work. THANKS!!!!!! Marky Mark
Works in Windows XP like a champ. I found out it can read CD's, but not blank CD's in OS X, my bad. Do I need a kext for it to be able to burn? MattD
Well, my new DVD burner seems to cause a kernel panic! If I try to install OS X with it - panic. If I install OS X using another drive, OS X works fine, but if I replace the drive with the original burner and then try to use it in OS X - panic. The drive works perfectly in XP too. LG GSA-H42N, if you're wondering! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/46760-wheres-the-hcl-for-dvd-burners/#findComment-336588 Share on other sites
