I installed it and everything went fine.

Specs:

Mobo: ASUS A8N-SLI

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+

Video card: nVidia 7900GT

Hard drives: 30 GB IDE, 80 GB SATA, 400 GB SATA

Currently, Winblows and *nix are occupying the IDE drive entirely. I created a 10 GB partition for Mac OS X on the 400 GB SATA and installed it there.

Getting a prohibitory sign whenever it boots. The spinny thing underneath it keeps going, though.

Help?

On boot, just before the Apple boot screen apears, repeatly press F8, now you should have the option to choose a operating system/give up boot options.

Type:

-v

and press enter.

You'll see a lot of text comming by, wait untill it halts, take a photo, and post it here.
