Hi all,

I've managed to get 10.4.6 Jas installed on my Compaq M2202TU Laptop, dual boot with windows XP. Config is

Celeron 1.3Ghz

256MB RAM

Intel 915GMA Graphics

But there's still some tweaking left to do. Would be great if someone could help me out! (I have searched the forums the best I could, and these are the fixes I couldn't find)

1. The PCMCIA card slot is not detected. I plug in my wireless card, and it doesn't recieve any power. Any fixes?

2. I connect to the internet from behind a proxy server which requires authentication. Now the software update / firefox / safari etc all work fine. But I cannot seem to connect to any of the messengers (MSN, Adium etc). I keep getting a messages like "Please make sure you are connected to the internet". I've tried local proxy settings from within the program, and also set the proxy from the network settings in system prefs. But still no avail. Any fixes?

Any help would be appretiated.

Cheers

ADitya
