Agon Posted March 25, 2007 Share Posted March 25, 2007 Ok so first I installed OSx86. Then I installed XP PRO. Then I installed WinGrub. Basically I want to know how WinGrub wroks, I edited the .lst file and then when i edit it, do i change the MENU.txt back to .lst or leave it. ALso when I restart I have no menu of selecting which OS I want to go into. This is what i have the MENU.txt timeout 10 title Windows at (hd0,1) root (hd0,1) chainloader +1 boot title OSX at (hd0,2) root (hd0,2) makeactive chainloader +1 boot Thx for the help, appreciate it. cbmkgd Posted March 25, 2007 Share Posted March 25, 2007 You could go to this Rammjett post for some info on WinGrub. I'm more familiar with grub myself, not wingrub. Make sure you have the right partitions in your menu: is your windows really on the second partition, and osx on the third?
