Zizou
Wow, you can't read can you... Asfar as I know, the AGPgart coder never got his hands on intel chipsets, therefor they're not supported I'm having the same problem. so yea ='( poor old AGP slot! joe75
AGP is not recognized on Intel properly and it is unknown if it can ever be fixed http://x86dev.org/forums/index.php?topic=48.new#new Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/46156-agp-7600gt-pci-only/#findComment-332106 Share on other sites
macbrush
I also running on Intel chipset AGP with 7600GT. I have gave up hope and actually am very happy with current setup. If you do some benchmark testing, you would find that though QE/CI is a bit slow compare to others, but OpenGL performance isn't impacted that much really, so it is not really a big deal. The only applications that you would feel the performance impact are Aperture and Final Cut Pro. Games are mostly done on OpenGL, so they're okay, and even HD video can be played smoothly on the slowed down QE/CI, so unless you are looking for really fast and smooth Aperture and Final Cut Pro operation, AGP isn't really a big deal.
