solaar
This one's a bit weird. The trash bin in the dock shows there's something in there. When I open it I see the entry 333 with the trash bin icon in the folder 'recovered files'. The info shows 0 KB - name :333. It looks like I've inadvertently dropped the trash bin into itself. I can empty it but after each reboot it's back again. Strange... Any hint how to permanently delete it is welcome Cheers sol Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45979-trash-bin-in-the-trash/ Share on other sites
tuxuser33
What about "Secure Empty Trash" as root? Tried: Onyx, AppleJack, DiskUtil (repair disk/ repair permissions) ? Yes, I prefer to have the user "root". Solve problems in Windows$$$ : reboot Solve problems in Linux / X : be root Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45979-trash-bin-in-the-trash/#findComment-329448 Share on other sites
