Donciakas Posted March 21, 2007 Share Posted March 21, 2007 terminal is not scary if you read manuals i've got onboard alc850 audio (Asus A8N-SLI SE, nforce4), and it works fine on 2 channels mode. Berserk87 Posted March 21, 2007 Author Share Posted March 21, 2007 OOOOK! i figured out terminal kinda. when i use the cp -r command were should the file be? on desktop or the main driver /root part? also when i type "kextload AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext" it says that the file was installed improperly or corrupt and all that , how am i supposed to? i used terminal to install it.....i think i did it right. and im using AMD so i guess i want that to read AppleAC97AudioAMD.kext ? yes/no? tell me what im doin wrong. I change in info.plist everywhere on my 0x545510b9 but this not helped too. Please Could someone write tutorial from fist step like deleting old files to last step. I too have found about 5 tutorials, none of them that work, none of the threads ending with "Thanks! That worked great!" Can somebody please tell me the DEFINITIVE THREAD for getting the ALC850 to work?
