i managed to install the mac osx finally.

This time this is what i did.

I used a linux live cd to format the second partition into FAT32 logical.

I installed mac osx into the second partition and i just checked the X11,Intel SSE2 SSE3,and some from the common hardware stuff.

It booted in about 15 seconds (:D).geforce 7400go was not there (but i was prepared about this) and so it was sound card,wifi card,ethernet.

But then i realised that i could boot in XP....

Can someone tell what i must do to have a dual boot system?

Press F8 at power on, you shall see the Darwin Bootloader. Just select Windows to boot.

Another way is to edit the boot.plist, just add below keys:

<key>Timeout</key>

<string>5</string>

This will give you 5 seconds to press any key to show up the Darwin bootloader.

Example:

<dict>

<key>Boot Graphics</key>

<string>Yes</string>

<key>Kernel</key>

<string>mach_kernel</string>

<key>Kernel Flags</key>

<string></string>

<key>Timeout</key>

<string>5</string>

</dict>
