Why wont a disk image eject after installing all updates except the 10.4.9 package (from apple update)

I just installed OSX on a laptop from a friend of mine, but after updating I can mount dmg files but not eject anymore :s

 

 

This was after I installed all updates available at the moment from Appleupdate except the system update to 10.4.9.

 

 

 

Im running 10.4.8 atm on Acer Aspire 3610 .... fully working ><

 

YES also both displays and I made a small jumper to start it without a external display attached :censored2:
