Ridgeback Posted March 17, 2007 Share Posted March 17, 2007 I have just finished the install guide to OS X 86 10.4.6 located here: http://www.nedprod.com/Niall_stuff/MacOS%20X/index.html After finishing the last step and booting into Mac OS (with no flags) I see a very distorted desktop that seems to be divided into sections (like window blinds) of grey gradients. It doesn't show anything else but sometimes it shows a pink section amongst the distorted blinds. I don't know of any other way to explain it. Also, I have tried the boot flags to setting the graphics mode listed here: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph..._Inspiron_E1405 Along with the "cpus=1" and "idlehalt=0" flags. None of this worked. All I want is a readable desktop so I can continue to setup/use OS X. Any help is greatly appreciated.
