  1. New laptop?

I have a dell E1505 that I was able to install OSX on relatively easy. The finer points to the installation are out there on the forums. The only downside is that at present the wireless does not work (though that's soon to change thanks to the help of Jalavoui: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=36976) and because the power management system still isn't up to par, it tends to eat batteries and won't go to sleep. I'm still working on that aspect myself. It's an option, but there might be better ones out there.
  2. Power Management on Dell E1505

Hello all. I can't thank everyone here enough for all your hard work in figuring out how to get this whole thing running. I have my Dell E1505 running almost fully functional. I do, however, still have a problem. One thing that I've noticed is that the computer running Mac OSX eats battery incredibly rapidly. Faster than windows does, anyways. I have some of the power management features working, such as the battery indicator, but it will not go to sleep, nor go into a screensaver. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this. Thanks
  3. OS X 86 10.4.6 Dell Inspiron E1405

I have this problem as well, except that I have an e1505
  4. Dell E1505 boot issue

That didn't work. Nothing came up on the monitor, not even the blank screen.
  5. Dell E1505 boot issue

Hello, all. I just installed the JaS 10.4.8 version of OSX. The install seemed to be OK, but when it booted into the system, it finished the boot screen, then the screen goes black. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
