JPLSFX
configuration : P4P800 (this one is the problem ^^) intel 3.2 ghz 2 go of RAM NVIDIA QUADRO 980 XGL (AGP) various disk... and a MAC BOOK PRO core DUO2 17" >parallel>bootcamp.... hello, may be this is a stupid known problem. got the .iso file JAS install. I created the CD, managed the install on a separate disk (250go / 2 partition) the install procedure was clear . then at the end the pc rebooted. I had to position the HD as the main boot disk > the grey apple appear with the circle clock logo turning few seconds then the screen turn to a darker grey. and I got a " you need to restart the computer " message. I did it already 5 times. and it goes back to the same situation ... don t know how to get further ... apparently from the install, I dont have any keyboard, but the mouse worked fine. >>>an other question is, can I have a multiboot screen choosing my XP or my OsX disk depending the startup I want without getting in the Bios each time ? help needed !!! thanks in advance. hecker
I get this msg when my ACPI is set to disabled in the BIOS and when my drivers are not correctly pinned (master/slave). Try to narrow down the error sources by disableing or even better, disconnecting any hardware that is not crucial for installation purposes. Also check your BIOS settings (safe is better than faster during installation). hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45464-install-problem/#findComment-339189 Share on other sites
