drewlsvern Posted March 14, 2007 Share Posted March 14, 2007 So I've tried numerous times and i've looked on the forum for help but can't seem to find a definitive answer, I've installed 10.4.5 no problems just works great, but now 10.4.8 just gives nothing but problems. I've came to point where I can get into the installer, format my drive to OSX partition, but when I try to select a destination...there is nothing to select it's not there, it's gone or as some say invisible. I'm just getting to the point where I can't take it anymore, I want it to work..... hecker Posted March 14, 2007 Share Posted March 14, 2007 I have read that there are some problems with the disk utility. Did your DVD include the diskutility patch? drewlsvern Posted March 15, 2007 Author Share Posted March 15, 2007 (edited) i've still no luck, i installed 10.4.3 for the time being just for something to mess around with until I can figure out a solution I'm using an IDE as well so i'm really confused as to how this doesn' t work.
