MyghKaR5b
Here is my setup Intel Bad Axe 2 Core 2 Duo 2.16ghz 2GB RAM 250GB SATA drive. I have JaS 10.4.8 DVD. Formatted the drive via Disk Utilities. It installs fine but on reboot the computer acts as if the drive isn't present. It reports no bootable device found. I've done tons of search and tons of reading. There are many conflicting reports and what not. Any ideas? KasperNL
Dear Tussy, I've a Bad Axe 2 motherboard myself and Installed (and am currently running) JaS 10.4.8 without problems. Which exactl version of JaS 10.4.8 do you have. One of the earlier versions (without the DiskUtil fix/patch) does not format the disks with a MBR (asuming your computer has EFI instead of a Bios). I had this DVD the first time I installed a Hackintosh. If you have this version you can: download a version with the patch:http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/1031530/673872/ format your disk using the terminal. diskutil PartitionDisk MBRFormat ......for more info: http://www.hmug.org/man/8/diskutil.php Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45306-intel-bad-axe-2-installs-fine-doesnt-see-hard-drive-during-bootup/#findComment-323836 Share on other sites
