madhur Posted March 14, 2007 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Hello everyone , i am a musician , and want to buy a Pro Mac , my options are MBP , And Mac Pro , well in my country A mac pro costs 156000 Rs which is around 3,600 $ this is the basic configurations . which i will mention below , and 17 inch macbook pro also costs 156,000 . well i really need a laptop but macbook pro's are toooo expensive , if i buy a mac pro i do not need to worry about updates forever , though mobility is a must for me , i can only afford to buy one , and i would want to use it for more than 5 years atleast , are there new line ups of mac book pro coming , with more ram . Or the grey market is always an option. PM me for details. If you live in Mumbai, I could maybe get an MBP arranged for you at nearly US prices. You yourself said you need the portability of a laptop, and you'll always pay a premium for that vs. a desktop.
