When trying to install the drivers CD, I get this message after the MSI file extracts:

"Macintosh Drivers for Windows XP requires that your computer is running Windows XP"

The irony is that I am running Windows XP. I click on "ok" on the above message and then it does nothing.

Is it possible that I am getting this message because I am running Windows XP x64 edition?

Thanks in advance.

Most likely. The Apple-provided drivers for Windows are only for 32-bit systems. I had this same issue when I tried to install 64-bit Vista; none of the drivers would install because they're not coded for the 64-bit system.

I expect to see 64-bit drivers from Apple in the next release of Boot Camp. It's anyone's guess when that will be though...
