canada1824
Okay, i got JaS 10.4.8 newest version, burned it at slow speed, got the ebios error, so i pop in my 10.4.4 image (friend lended it to me), so i start it (note: no backup whatsoever...as i installed it before), went to disc utility, so i stupidly did a new partition for mac (but i locked my 3 other drives), next thing i know, no more data, nothing on the drive...poof! So i restart with ubsd and my drive was not bootable, used fdisk, nothing....before you laugh at my expense, i should tell you i've tried VMware, everything...all my work, my uploaded isos, photoshop, design work...GONE! now watch me cry.....just imagine (any help/miracles/similar to jesus would be appreciated) thank god i emailed myself some of my term paper/presentation Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45116-hd-gone-with-no-warning-nothing-leftwhat-not-to-do/ Share on other sites
hecker
If the partitions you need were in NTFS or FAT32, there is a good chance you can recover them. PM me for the software needed. TIP: Don't access the damaged HDDs any further! And for heaven's sake, don't write on them! hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45116-hd-gone-with-no-warning-nothing-leftwhat-not-to-do/#findComment-322421 Share on other sites
WaldMeister
You could also try if Partition Table Doctor can rebuild the old partition table, then you also would have all your data back. Happend to me a few times, and this is the way i fixed it.
