No hardware acceleration tho!!!! which really sucks! :)

ANYWAY.....

How the heck do i get to see the Boot graphics apon startup???????

All i see when OSX boots is the stupid darwin boot text. :(

......

Other forums tell me to change the BOOT GRAPHICS option to YES in the "com.apple.Boot.plist" file. PROBLEM IS......This is already set to Yes!!!!. ?? :S

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Also anyone who can help guide me to getting my hardware acceleration running properly??? :) Cheers

Check in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration for com.apple.Boot.plist

check that Boot Graphics is set to Yes and kernel flags does NOT have a -v.

Thanks for the quick reply guys :):(

Yes i am in the proccess of download 10.4.8 ..... i am about 70% done.

Just another noob question.....what should i replace the -v with?? should it be blank...i.e "<string></string>", or should i remove the line completely?

Thanks for all the input :)

:)
