jleal
Hi, Sorry for opening up another thread about this but the other threads are so big or so specific that information gets confused expecially for a non native english speaker like me. I've been browsing for some days on this forum to gather the necessary information to install 10.4.8 on my system. I have one SATA drive and and an Asus A8N-E board with Nforce4 chipset. I downloaded Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1].iso - 0ef2904e0aad1864c69b2ac67e050255 From what i read i think i need to apply some patches to this .iso to get it to work with my SATA drive. I already have pdx-pom3 to apply patches to .iso image. I also have blacksoul.AppleNForceATA.rar patch but before i proceed to applying the patch and burning the DVD disk i would like to know if this is the only patch that i need to apply or do i need more? If i need more, in what order should i apply them? So, i have: - Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1].iso - blacksoul.AppleNForceATA.rar What do i need more? loonymonkey
I'm also confused about all the SATA threads. I booted up my ISO, and OSX Disk Utility sees my SATA drives. Does this mean that SATA will work correctly when installing OSX86?
