richie*s
Hey, yesterday i tried a freaky thing....i have a working dual boot system (XP/mac os 10.4.6 JaS) and now wanna have a WORKING triple boot system with vista.....I also hava an external 80GB 2,5" HDD i want to use...my idea was, to just let the 60GB where the OS X/XP is installed be untuched.....therfore i dd'd the mac image (don't want to set up alle these things new) and tried it on the partitioned harddrive....worked very nice.....then I installed windows XP, everything went fine as usual....but as i installed Vista and set the HFS+ partition active and changed back the id=af(via linux live cd), nothing works and i get the HFS+ partition error.....when i turn back the vista partition as active, vista and xp boots.....I really don't know what to do...i tried all these things here in the forum, but nothing worked.....i even partitioned the hfs+ drive new an dd'd the image again, same sh**! when i put in my "old" HDD and boot up os x, i can mount and see the external hfs drive....(ide to usb) very strange! I would be really happy, if someone could help me!!! Thanks a lot! rs Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44948-hfs-error-doesnt-disappear/ Share on other sites
