mdg
I literally just plugged it in and voila. I plugged in the S/PDIF adapter, plugged in my S/PDIF cable and I get very good sound. Problem is though it's just 2 channel. I want to watch DVD's in Dolby Digital 5.1 on my home theather hackintosh. The card supposedly passes on the 5.1 but my stereo just receives 2 channel. Is there a way to enable 5.1? Anyone who has this card have 5.1 to a receiver? Any help would be music to my ears (no pun intended). Thanks, /mdg Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44820-turtle-beach-advantage-micro-works-out-of-the-box-but-spdif/ Share on other sites
macgirl
Sometimes you need to adjust some settings in the Audio, check the next pic showing 2 different options on the same sound card, one of them allow me to hear in 2 channels and the other in 5.1, although in the options both appears with the same name.
