OSXtasy
Does anyone know by chance how much power a MacPro (Middle config 2.66 quad/1gig ram) uses during normal operation (basic surfing the 'net, nothing majorly load generating), and approximately how much it uses during its "sleep" state compared to a normal core2duo PC with 500watt powersupply?? Just wondered if anyone might know....... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44693-macpro-power-consumption/ Share on other sites
Dr. Heckles
Willing to type up a whole post but not type "mac pro power consumption" into Google? http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304387 In sleep mode it is going to use next to nothing. It'll depend solely on how many memory modules you have.
