hecker
I would assume it's the SATA interface and not your DVD. Try booting the DVD from another PC to make sure. hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44674-help-sellect-destinationno-option/#findComment-319942 Share on other sites
WaldMeister
You need to open DiskUtility, format the space you want to use for OS X to a HFS+ partition. Then you should have your destination. You're probably right. @impreza: Just make sure you don't accidentally erase your windows partition. hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44674-help-sellect-destinationno-option/#findComment-319989 Share on other sites

impreza
Still no joy, spent another couple of hours digging around the forum and seems like it's a pain in the ass to get the sata drive to be recognized especially when your a noob like myself. My hd sata controller is a via controller on xp or vista any more advice as I don't want to give up yet. Is there a file text that I could patch in using UltraISO and burn a new disk.
