tivimac Posted March 8, 2007 Share Posted March 8, 2007 Well, I dont know if this was bundled up before this build, it´s a nice touch from PD to include a complete security solution in the program. You can activate this thru the action menu. And before somebody tells me that this is not necesary remember that it´s a Virtual MS Windows...your mac is not going to suffer but your work in the sandbox is at risk if you don´t take steps to prevent it. errandwolfe Posted March 9, 2007 Share Posted March 9, 2007 I think this is great! I just uninstall McAfee from my VM and am installing Kapersky as I type. I am hoping it is a lot more tuned to work in a VM. McAfee would kill me any time I tried to do any heavy disk work. I think this is a very responsible thing for PD to do. They know the majority of VM's will probably run Windows, and many long time Mac users know nothing of having to deal with security like you do on Windows. This seems to auto-configure itself with just the single click to install. Very Mac like.
