Hellsoap
Running 10.4.7 (8 wont work for me), and I can't get drivers for my Nvidia (evga) 7800gt. I first tried changing the resolution in the boot list, and that didn't work, just no effect at all. I tried installing the macvidia drivers, and whenever I do that, on reboot when the gui goes to load my monitor says input not supported, but I can hear everything in the backround. Sorry I can't read or search through 1 million pages, so don't flame me with "OH LOLZ U SHULDS OF SERCHD." Thanks ahead . DiaboliK
you are outta luck until you upgrade to 10.4.8 and the 8.8.1 kernel. thats required for natit/titan to work. joe75
You don't list any other hardware, so we cant figure out why you cant go new 4.8. Search for 1048FINAL or latest AMD/Intel JaS, choose the NV package on install and you will most likely have support. Motawa
Im not able to post in nvidia sub forum and there is no 7800gt topic so i post here. When i plug in my 7800gtx 256 mb pcie i always get the turn off screen screen on boot. Flashed the bios from gainward to evga and to xfx but nothing works. I added the efi string for my 7800gt 256mb pcie. When i plug in a gtx 260, system prof says 7800gt. But with the 7800gt i cant even get into the os. Tried arch=i386 and -f Nothing works for me Also tried with nvinjector and natit Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44447-evga-7800gt-driver/#findComment-1414043 Share on other sites
